My mind is heavy,
My mind is murky.
Notoriously known for constantly having my head in the clouds
But now my clouds are stormy.
My fragile body does not possess enough strength
To hold up this heavy mind.
My back is hunched from years and years
Of dragging around this heavy load.
My personal punishment for crimes unknown.
The bags underneath my eyes are proof
Of countless sleepless nights.
Day after day,
With each battle, win or lose,
I lose some light.
As it rains from my eyes,
I suddenly realise,
There is no rainbow
At the end of this storm.
